an artist's treasures These paintings are all about things that are important to me –things that have been made, collected or owned by members of my family. My early artistic life was that of a potter. My parents owned and operated Mirrabooka Pottery in Doonan. Several of these paintings are of pottery pieces I made in the 1990’s. As with most artists I have a strong connection with nature and love to collect natural objects which I find fascinating. Also included are a few things of mum’s, and gifts, like a plant from my brother, a rickety chair from my mum in-law, and a rope mat made by Steve from a tangle of salvaged rope he found washed up at Teewah. I am quite attached to these paintings, hence some of them are not for sale. I hope you enjoy looking at them as they say a lot about me and come from the heart .
